Going to Coney Island today - yay!! Crisp blue sunny gorgeous weather for my last 2 days in new york. Can't believe I'll be home in a week - strange but very excited.
The boardwalk is almost deserted, astro land and cyclone both closed, lots of people fishing from the pier, clams, corn dogs, chicken fried chicken - coney island was fun, and the ocean flat and contained reminded me of st kilda. home soon - and the first thing I'm going to do is make vegemite toast. yum!
