Happy Everything!

Almost landed completely back in Melbourne, feng shui-ed the house today, cleaning dust off all the doorways and clutter from the hall, then sorted/minimalised my clothes and filtered/filed boxes of papers and stuff collected on travels and since being back.
Now ready to start getting some actual work done! Have broken through my block in using the sound editing software I bought my new computer for, and made an 8 minute piece for an exhibition in March - now just need to get the damn thing out of my imac. Anyone have a spare usb external cd burner lying around?

Made a commitment to go out and see live music here, get into what other people are doing. Connected with a few sound boys who expressed interest in playing with some bridges - find that if I involve other people it keeps me motivated and they always have great energy and enthusiasm, which is a relief from sitting on my own at the desk in my room for hours on end.

Went on a mini-road trip with Lisa on new years day, to drop her friend Aaron and his friend Karen in Wonthagi - about 2 hours south of melbourne, along the coast - fun to have a drive and talked shit, laughed lots, stopped at savers in dandenong for some bargains.

Looking forward to getting more work done, and starting the international art events consultancy, and making a live mult-location bridge playing thing happen sometime this year - ideal scenario: as part of an extremely well organised festival with lots of funding for artists travel, accommodation, living expenses, equipment and assistants, taking place in New York, Helsinki, San Francisco, Berlin and Barcelona with my choice of location to fly to and hook up the bridge.

Have developed an obsession with John Edward, addicted to his 'crossing over' show, and scored a job for a couple of nights when he's appearing in sydney and melbourne, helping out - not sure in what capacity exactly, (possibly holding the microphone up on the long stick to the relatives of those coming through from the other side) but very intrigued to see how it actually happens 'live'!

Love to all reading this, time for bed now!
