scandic easy access
writing this in a moulded plastic space chair, keyboard on my lap at helsinki aiport.
i love catching planes
achieved a dreamy state of enjoyable disconnection this morning, floated to the bus and have just amassed the most ridiculous collection of moomin paraphernalia for philippa.
very excited about trip to zagreb, hope the warmth will help decompress after the last week.
took long sauna at kallio with helen last night, meeting andrew for beers in the snow downstairs, then met mari and essie and leon and adam and tommi at the plush bar and pizza place across the lake from our mansion. very sad not to have known it was there - kitchen open til 11.30pm which would have made life so much easier a few times last week. anyway, we know now.
had a relaxed and low key evening, came home and took a turn around the living room with kate in our best jane austen gossip mode, woke up this morning and sorted through all the rubbish i've collected, now ready to travel lightly through the next month.
