Philippa will never believe me again when I claim to be lonely, having survived a week of social engagements every night. Not a single evening did we spend at home, and there was a fine mix of writers, visiting french artists (and way too much red wine at the winerei), french-australian electro-pop, the finnish birthday party (with an australian table, german corner, finnish kitchen, and swedish cluster) and subsequent recovery at boxhagener platz markets, and one fabulous trip to the magnificent badeschiff sauna. I promised to make it back there soon, it was so gorgeous floating on the spree, doing laps in a pool that looked out over the water reminded me of Bronte, and the relaxing room was gradually taken over by chattering groups but by then it was time to leave.

Discovered that Bondi is in fact just around the corner, with the closest thing to a real latte I've had in a year. Corner cafe, white and blue space, really does feel like being in Australia. All that's missing is the beach. Feeling very landlocked here, although there are compensations.

Such as a thriving cultural scene and revived art career. So I can't complain too much. The list of projects is getting quite ridiculous in fact, but more on that later.
