radio aporee ::: maps is a project to connect sound and space, and create a cartography which focusses solely on sound. Open to the public as a collaborative project, collecting audible material, it connects them to the surface of google maps, showing the sonic complexity of these environments, as well as the different perception and artistic perspectives related to sound, space and places.

SINGING BRIDGES
singingbridges.net
Singing Bridges highlights the unheard sounds and secret language of the urban environment. The sounds of the bridge opens a space for reflection, poetic reverie and contemplation, taking us beyond the physical architecture and functional aspects of the structure, into another realm entirely. Tuning in to the voice of the bridge we can hear the creaks and sighs of the structure, the tension in the architecture, connecting to bridges around the world through the poetic acoustics echoing along the cables, in a location specific listening experience.
Originally from Sydney, Australia, Jodi Rose travels the world to explore the sounds of bridges. "In the course of my quest for bridge music, I found myself recording in the snow under a bridge in Ljubljana, making a guerilla recording on the Golden Gate Bridge, dangling from a crane on the mega-bridge in Bangkok, dancing Tango on a rural Finnish wooden bridge, building an ice bridge at the Swedish ice hotel, before my fateful encounter and artistic marriage with the Devil's Bridge in the French Pyrenees, and now the Transporter to Infinity."
